Guided Bone Regeneration. Ref.: 35
A procedure used to regenerate the bone volume necessary for the correct placement of implants. For this, small perforations are made in the bone, which will allow a correct vascularization of the graft. Next, screws are placed to maintain the space that can be filled with biomaterials. Subsequently, a membrane is placed over the graft to allow bone remodeling and prevent the soft tissues from penetrating and impeding bone regeneration.
