Bone grafting is a technique in dentistry used to facilitate the placement of dental implants in cases where there is insufficient bone available. After a dental extraction, if the socket is not preserved or an implant is not placed immediately, the bone will gradually remodel, which may prevent the placement of implants in the future in a correct manner.
