Orthodontic traction of canines included. Ref.: 69
Occasionally, a canine can be included inside the bone without erupting, caused by various factors such as lack of space, trauma, agenesis, etc.
One of the treatments can be the extrusion of the included piece by means of orthodontic traction.
To do this, an access to the tooth is created through the gum and bone, and a button is attached to the tooth.
Little by little the tooth is tractioned until it is placed in its correct position.
The included canine can be in different positions, and depending on this, the access will be through the anterior area or through the palate.
