Fixed Bridge on Natural Tooth: Comparison with Implants. Ref.: 19
This video shows a comparison between an implant treatment and a treatment with a bridge in the absence of a tooth. By placing the implant in the area of the extracted tooth, the bone and soft tissues will be maintained at an optimum level. In order to make a bridge it is necessary to grind the adjacent teeth, even if they are healthy, so that the bridge can be cemented on them. With both procedures we can achieve a good esthetic and functional result, and sometimes the bridge is the only solution in cases where it is not possible to place implants.
